These included Rewilding Britain, Buddies of the Earth, The Wildlife Trusts, and Surfers Towards Sewage.
Big Give’s match funding ‘champions’, which embrace main firms, philanthropists, and foundations, contributed £3.3 million, doubling the influence of 29,550 public donations to collaborating charities. Champions included Folks’s Postcode Lottery, The Garfield Weston Basis and The Reed Basis.

The marketing campaign was run in partnership with Environmental Funders Community.
The marketing campaign noticed help from media retailers together with Whats up! Journal and JCDecaux Group Channel, and from movie star supporters, together with Chris Packham (Bat Conservation Belief), Stephen Fry (Rainforest Belief UK), Megan McCubbin (Serving to Rhinos), Monty Don (Soil Affiliation), and Adjoa Andoh (Tree Assist).
James Reed CBE, Chair of Trustees for Large Give, mentioned:
“The Inexperienced Match Fund reveals what may be achieved when members of the general public and our champion donors come collectively and double their influence. We’re delighted with the report complete raised. At a time when rising the philanthropic capital flows to environmental organisations has by no means been extra essential, our Inexperienced Match Fund empowers the charities addressing environmental challenges which influence us all.”
Final 12 months’s marketing campaign raised £4.3mn for 178 charities.
